Big Bear 400 Semi-Auto 4x4

You like to shift? That’s fine. Enter the Big Bear 400 - a tough workplace performer. At its heart is a free-revving air-oil cooled 386cc SOHC with plenty of bottom-end grunt. It feeds its power through a constant mesh, auto clutch five-speed gearbox with reverse and an ultra low first gear. Big Bear 400 features the all-terrain surety of Diff Lock, accessible via Yamaha’s famous push button On-Command® 2WD/4WD/Diff Lock switching, as well as the off road ability and all day comfort of independent rear suspension. If you like to change gears, there’s no need to shift preferences.

Big Bear’s plush, comfortable Independent Rear Suspension provides control and comfort, while a fully sealed oil bath rear wet brake allows long-lasting, outstanding stopping power even in the worst conditions.
For riders who crave ultimate control, a rugged 5-speed gearbox features a semi-automatic action and ultra-low ‘stump-pulling’ first gear. Naturally, there’s a reverse gear, so you can back out of what you get yourself into
