You know that feeling you get when you hear a special engine? The noise hits you like a clip under the ear and your cerebrum scrambles to digest and dissect it as a concert of cylinders in harmony, induction whir, combustion and exhaust note. The bristles stand up atop your spine and your emotions lift with excitement and optimism - and suddenly new things are possible. Tell you one thing, Banshee’s 347cc, liquid-cooled, two-stroke twin will get your adrenaline pumping, well before you let out the clutch lever. No machine has ever matched Banshee’s list of dirt-track, desert race and other titles, or for that matter, its sheer uniqueness. It’s a legend. Get ‘em while they last.

It starts with a burbling rumble that, with the flick of a digit grows to a fearsome shriek, breathing through twin exhausts. Nothing epitomises the almost organic life force of the internal combustion engine in the same way as the two-stroke Yamaha Banshee.

And nothing gets your own life force standing to attention like 347cc of twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled Grand Prix-derived racing two-stroke surging hard through the gears.

Over a long and distinguished career worldwide, Banshee has won more races than you’ve had hot breakfasts, and it still continues to attract its own legion of loyal, hard-core fans for simple uniqueness and seat of the pants excitement. There’s nothing that looks like it, or thrills like it.

FEATURES
 
   The most distinctive engine in the sport, Banshee’s powerplant is a liquid-cooled, 350cc, 2-stroke with twin YPVS-equipped cylinders, twin carbs and dual exhaust.
   Banshee turns like it revs - lightning quick, thanks to its low seat height, rigid, lightweight frame design and nimble geometry. Lightweight alloy wheels are shod with low-profile tyres and slowed by triple disc brakes.
   Twin 26mm Mikuni carburettors ensure potent, seamless acceleration and top-end power, while the unique twin expansion chamber system emits a dramatic and unmistakeable note.
   Large-diameter ventilated hydraulic front and rear disc brakes help reel in all that incredible Banshee speed with tremendous stopping power even in wet conditions.
   Rigid, lightweight swingarm with a rising-rate, link-type piggyback-reservoir single rear shock is adjustable for preload, compression and rebound damping and 221mm of travel permits a huge range of fine-tuning to rider style and terrain conditions.
   Heavy-duty front grab bar protects suspension and Banshee’s awesome 347cc two-stroke twin- YPVS-equipped cylinder power plant. Twin spotlights add an appropriately distinctive touch.
