JUNIOR JAMES STEWARTS NEED A JUNIOR FACTORY BIKE

No need to let the grownups have all the spotlight on their 250s and 450s – the YZ85 is junior’s very own factory motocross bike.

All you need for a race-winning performance is 85cc of lightweight, liquid-cooled, crankcase reed-inducted thrust slotted under a flat, roomy cockpit designed for perfect pilot movement. Particularly when it comes with potent mid and top-end punch, a slick six-speeder and the handling and braking to convert brute thrust into wicked lap times.

Oh, and of course, it’s coloured Yamaha Factory Blue.

The YZ85s are a popular choice with Team Dad too, because they’ve got the workshop performance to back up the on-track fireworks.

And don’t forget the final good reason to choose Yamaha. Yamaha now has a junior development team in every mainland state of Australia, creating a chain of support that stretches right from juniors to the CDR Factory Team!

Key Features:
♦   Liquid-cooled, 85cc crankcase reed-valve inducted six-speed is light, compact and designed to deliver hard-hitting, moto-winning power throughout the RPM range.
♦   Smooth-shifting, six-speed close ratio transmission with heavy-duty, multiplate clutch delivers maximum hook-up for outstanding acceleration and corner-exiting power.
♦   Involute spline clutch design means smoother shifting under power with great durability at competition-level usage.
♦   Tough, semi-double cradle frame is lightweight and strong for sharp handling for riders from rank Novice to Mini Expert.
♦   Lightweight 36mm inverted Kayaba cartridge fork features compression and rebound damping adjustability, with low-friction outer tubes and internals.
♦   Rear suspension features fully adjustable Kayaba link-type shock with race-tested compression damping valving.
♦   220mm front disc and 190mm rear disc brakes with stainless steel rotors and competition-spec pads deliver strong, precise stopping power.
